cluster_scripts

This subdirectory contains a few scripts (intended for personal use by Andrawes Al Bahou) which allows me to run remote tasks to various machines in a distributed manner, over SSH. This collection of scripts allows me to run my ‘own’ cluster besides the BIWI cluster, to improve the compute throughput. The functionalities covered by these scripts are:

• Deploying a folder structure
• Deploying files
• Running tasks
• Adjusting priority level of running tasks
• Kill tasks
• Retrieve data generated by tasks
• Clean the remote data
• Monitor running tasks
• Count number of active machines

Use these scripts with care, if you must use them at all. Misuse might lead to disturbance of other users utilizing the D-ITET compute resources. Instead favor using the regular BIWI or Euler Clusters.
